But we don't get put on CNN, and people don't quote us expressing our opinions as if they're more important or relevant than the next person. Quoting De Niro is just as trite and silly as a BBC vox pop about Brexit from the middle of Swindon in the middle of a Thursday morning.
De Niro is right, but it's not particularly enlightening or special or informative or important.

Oh, Slebs have a right to their opinion. And are sometimes right. Just like me. Or the bloke in the Mexican restaurant down the road. But we don't get put on CNN, and people don't quote us expressing our opinions as if they're more important or relevant than the next person. For once, those tariffs are justified and legal, and are there because Britain and France broke WTO rules on subsidies (note to Jeremy Corbyn and supporters, yet again: the EU doesn't stop us providing state aid). In a few weeks when the ruling on illegal US state aid to Boeing comes through, I imagine it'll all be a wash.

That's the thing about cults, they gets to a point where its impossible for the adherents to consider anything the leader does as being unworthy, the very fact the cult leader does it makes it OK, that's the state of the Trump Party (what used to be the GOP) as it now stands.

Thanks. Looking at the figures it seems the 7.5bn is pretty low: Boeing's lost hundreds of billions(their claim) over the last few years.
