Quite stylish. Top marks for novelty warnings. "There has been widespread condemnation of an attack on a man who was found nailed to a fence in a car park in Bushmills, County Antrim. The victim, in his 20s, was discovered with nails in both hands and injuries to his nose in the Dundarave Park area. He was taken to hospital for treatment in the early hours of Sunday. Two vans, one belonging to the injured man, were found on fire nearby and crews from the Northern Ireland fire and rescue service were called to the scene. Graffiti on the wall of public toilets in the vicinity was being linked to the violent attack and arson. About 20 visitors in campervans and mobile homes were reported to have been in the area at the time of the assault." "Visitors" eh? Link?

I usually do. It didn't seem necessary this time.

This seems clear cut to me. The pedestrian woman clearly makes aggressive moves, although you can't tell if contact was made, and forces the cycling woman onto the road and under the wheels of a vehicle. I did at first think the court had it wrong but after watching it a few times, I think they're right. "Campaigners today slammed the 'extremely harsh' jail sentence of a cerebral palsy sufferer who was convicted of manslaughter for gesturing at a cyclist seconds before they fell into the road and were killed by a car. 'Vulnerable' Auriol Grey, 49, who is partially blind and also suffers from cognitive issues, was given three years in jail on Thursday following a retrial at Peterborough Crown Court." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11812867/Fury-extremely-harsh-sentence-disabled-woman-gestured-cyclist-car-collision.htmlShe's got away with it. www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-68975335It's enough to turn your auriol grey.

I obviously wasn't in court, but it certainly sounds like she's guilty as sin and should be locked up.

If you're going to ride on the pavement, ride at no more than walking pace and stop when you meet pedestrians. Otherwise, just walk.

I see that George Galloway is bringing in top talent .... "Former England cricketer Monty Panesar has been unveiled as a general election candidate for George Galloway's Workers Party of Britain. Mr Panesar said he wanted to "represent the working class people of this country" in Parliament. He was one of dozens of Workers Party candidates unveiled by Mr Galloway in Parliament Square earlier." Interesting use of "represent" again. In what way? A very short innings.... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68976806.amp

I always like him as a cricketer, but wasn't always convinced he was the smartest kid in the room. Maybe I misjudged him - I've not heard from him for a while. But I'm not sure he's Future MP Material.

I tell you what, the news about Kate and King Charles is a bit worrying. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68990928Nowhere has anyone said that they're fine, and Kate's situation sounds far from sorted.
