"Have a good one" from people you don't know who work in shops.

Wheels-up. A close cousin of "fire in the hole!" America, pseudo-military grot. Make a hole. Admittedly only ever heard it in films. Still annoying though.

The gammons here who constantly use 'vibrant' and 'diversity' as a cover for their racism, makes me think "quick someone call a whambulance he's gonna blow"

Of course some words will never get old and serve a useful purpose to flush out the BBC left. "Vibracide", "triggered", "snowflake", "SJW" etc etc etc.

"Woke" . . there's a word that should be put down, put to sleep, given the eternal rest in a deep place (Sweet)

While ever the right think everything they hate can be dismissed as 'woke' I doubt they'll stop using it.

It's a bad word whichever way you look at it. The past tense of the verb wake, it's misused for a start. As for using 'woke' as a noun, It's patronising and slightly insulting, suggesting one is aware, not blind to injustice - well hang on, anyone with a brain cell or two knows what's right or wrong in our social world, and those that choose to be different, for whatever reason, are doing just that - choosing. ie it's a conscious decision to buck the norm. Well, it's a free world, innit? And those self-righteous arseholes who wish to pronounce that someone is 'woke' or not 'woke' are being judgemental, patronising and deliberately inflammatory; if someone's an ...ist of some sort, why not ignore them?

Woken. Or awake, perhaps.
Either way, the Left's dreadful piety has turned on them. The truth will out in the end and no footstamping and spittle-flecked isms can help them.

Five or six years ago, the left were proud and delighted to be called woke. It was PC a few years before that- just a different word for much the same thing. It's got little to do with "just being polite" or "social" "justice", it's all about power and control and hectoring people. (By the way, do the left like how I'm having to lecture the left on the left's motivations and tactics?). As ever, the left fail to understand human nature or psychology, in this case Joey Deacon syndrome. Lecture people piously, from a weak moral position, and they'll soon start to use your own words against you. Hence as we use "woke" to mock you mercilessly.

They've invented themselves. They are creatures of their own posturing.

They are creatures of their own posturing. Gotta admit I like that phrase. Might use it against you though...

Woke is an interesting one. It basically means don't be a dick. Like PC. It's simply saying that once you know something's rude, you probably shouldn't do it.
But because the right hate it when it's pointed out that they are rude and acting like dicks they freaked out about the terminology, just like PC. So now the term is mostly useless and meaningless and is only ever used by right wing dicks to signify their dickishness.

Nah, that was the same silly, self-serving argument advanced in defence of PC.
It went waaaaaaaaaay beyond setting conditions of politeness and into aggressive, haranguing, bullying, self-righteousness and was used to gain a dishonest advantage.

If PC and wokeness was just about being polite then Japan would be the woke-ist nation in the world.
