Nu Dave reckons he's gonna abolish 95% of GCSE & A-Level coursework to stop the dumbing down of exam results - not before time.

Chis Rea wrote a song about this. It went "Is this a Technological break down? oh no it is the Road to Hull". Libby; The good thing about walking a mile in someones shoes is that, if they get angry, you're a mile away and they're barefoot. Lol! I've never been to Hull, so i don't know much about it - had a friend from there years ago, and yup she was thick! Can't condemn them all as thick though surely?!

Hull City is one of if not thee most secular cities in the UK.
This is what you get once you take traditional spiritual and social values from the younger generation.

uk.youtube.com/watch?v=g_DaMKUP3Ogthis is pretty accurate about this country... replace the US with th UK in this cartoon and thats whats wrong with Hell I mean Hull we have taken the ISM and we need to get rid of it ! Socialism Communism Secularism Conservatism Liberalism Labourism Capitalism (Yes I disagree with the cartoon on that point) We need democratic rule back. John Q Public needs to be in charge again in Parliament.

I've only ever met one person from Hull, I work with her she's really smart and very attractive too but the accent is the weirdest I've ever heard every O sound is warped into UR in a really exaggerated way e.g. Coca-cola sounds like Curka-curla 'I know' becomes 'I Knur' I just hurp I don't start to copy

She drinks her tea from a cap, and is always on about her liking for bans. She eats them with or without currants.

The Humber Bridge is spectacular. Hull itself is singularly depressing. Everywhere is way behind the times, especially with regard to fashion. Good points, the people are friendly and polite with a sense of humour (they need it). Fish and chips are good too. Hull natives are not good looking, according to my husband, I didn't think they were much different to anywhere else.

The bridge to nowhere, sums up Hull in a rather depressing way.

Education wise, I have often thought a return to making the three R's a priority throughout primary school would make a lot of difference. Kids go to school to learn after all, play doesn't teach useful stuff. The three R's should be every child's right wherever they live.
