I agree it should be every child's right but in reality it is totally dependent on the dedication of the teachers in their particular school. I live in a big city in the South and where my son goes to school it is the teachers who need an education! Most seem disinterested, disillusioned and illiterate! I have challenged them on many occasions with no effect. I cannot move my son because the other schools in the city are just as bad, he is also sitting his GCSE's this year so continuity is important. It's a horrendous situation and his education is being compromised.
