From the middle linked article:
"Satellites show that warming since 1900"
*Scoff*
Time to re-write the history books, if we've been banging satellites up there since 1900.

Oh, and the one about polar bear dicks has nothing to do with climate change. It's to do with PCBs. Are you trying to prove voices earlier point about pollutants for him?
So that is one dismissed out of hand as it suggests the satellite record goes back over a hundred years, as opposed to 1978; and another one warning about non-climate change stuff. And a third about measures to encourage domestic energy efficiency.
That's a pretty impressive array of hot air, Rick.

No. It's not a gas. But it can get in the atmosphere. You have heard of "dust storms", right? You do know that the dust on your computer monitor doesn't arrive there by magic, but is carried in the air?
And, of course, we've long known that particulates (dust, basically) get in the atmosphere - usually, these days, we're concerned about PM10s (particulates around the size of 10 microns), that come out of the kind of crappy burn diesel engines that sit in old trucks. Although, on the whole, we're more worried about what they do to our lungs than to the climate.
Thinking of which, did you also read the article? Because, once you get beyond the headlines about "Greenhouse gases", it doesn't mention greenhouse gases at all in the content.
(Although, one more addendum, we do actually know that in extreme circumstances, such as in the aftermath of the 1815 eruption of Tambora, dust in the atmosphere can have a temporary impact on global climate).

"Nevada Solar Farm Fries 130 Birds In 2 Hour Test""The Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project array is nearly ready to go partially online in Nevada. The $737 Million publicly Department Of Energy funded project is intended to produce 110 MW of energy. There’s just one problem." "130 birds were literally set on fire in mid flight during a recent test run in the span of 2 hours. This is because the array redirects solar energy to a point 1200 feet above ground, right in the flightpath of birds." Nature World News reports: “About two hours into the test, engineers and biologists on site started noticing “streamers” – trails of smoke and steam caused by birds flying directly into the field of solar radiation. What moisture was on them instantly vaporized, and some instantly burst into flames – at least, until they began to frantically flap away. An estimated 130 birds were injured or killed during the test.”“According to The Associated Press (AP), many biologists call the number of deaths “significant” and suspect that the streamers are caused by a chain of attraction – that is, insects are drawn towards the bright plant’s light, which in turn attracts birds looking to feast on crispy bugs.”www.progressivestoday.com/solar-array-fries-130-birds-in-2-hour-test/Warmthers - "we must destroy the environment in order to save it"

great, lets just burn more coal cos that so much better for the wildlife and forests isn't it. In fact Rick should go live in China, they love to burn loads of coal and it hasn't done them any harm has it. idiot.

Why isn't the frying birds thing a problem at the massive Ivanpah project?
Although, in fairness, these kinds of schemes may no longer make as much sense as they used to - up until a couple of years ago, focussing light on a central water container to create steam was the most financially sensible way to create solar energy, but the price of PV cells has come down dramatically (thanks to the Chinese), and may now be a more price-efficient way of generating power, even in large scale projects in otherwise dead space in the desert.

A propos some of the worst reporting ever on the subject of solar power, how about this from the Independent online www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/biggest-solar-eclipse-since-1999-could-plunge-britain-into-darkness-10067907.htmlA solar eclipse in March could plunge the country into darkness as the sky is covered and energy supplies are put at risk. The eclipse will block out nearly 90 per cent of the sunlight in parts of Europe – with some of Scotland seeing 94 per cent coverage. And the electricity supplies might not be able to take up the strain, since so much of Europe’s power supply now relies on solar energy.

Yeah, because we all know that the power grid fails every time it's cloudy or that night falls or that the days get shorter in winter...

"McCarthyism Not Dead""Others have covered Roger Pielke Jnr’s run in with US Representative Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) who is the ranking member of the House of Representatives Committee on Environment and Natural Resources. Anyone who has not seen it, Roger has it on his blog here." "But just to bring home Stalinist nature of the “investigation”, I copy below the actual letter sent by Grijalva to the president of Pielke’s university." tinyurl.com/oc9webg"Global Warming: Follow the Money""In truth, the overwhelming majority of climate-research funding comes from the federal government and left-wing foundations. And while the energy industry funds both sides of the climate debate, the government/foundation monies go only toward research that advances the warming regulatory agenda. (have an open mind and don't adhere to The Narrative,,,no govt money for research) With a clear public-policy outcome in mind, the government/foundation gravy train is a much greater threat to scientific integrity. tinyurl.com/lobbaw9"Big Oil Money for Me, But Not for Thee""The (warmther) Sierra Club takes fossil fuel money. "Why isn't the frying birds thing a problem at the massive Ivanpah project?" "Birds going up in smoke at Ivanpah solar project"tinyurl.com/nwkfrqd"large scale projects in otherwise dead space in the desert." The solar projects are destroying fragile desert ecosystems on a gigantic scale. "Mojave Solar Project Killing Threatened Desert Tortoises""Construction of BrightSource Energy’s Ivanpah solar power project in the Mojave Desert is destroying the habitat of threatened desert tortoises. Conservationists have documented that in addition to destroying desert tortoise habitat, the project, approximately 50 miles south of Las Vegas in southeastern California, has directly caused many desert tortoise deaths." "To appease environmental concerns, BrightSource has paid $56 million to protect and relocate scores of desert tortoises. But even that has not been enough to avert catastrophe. Animals were crushed under vehicle tires, army ants attacked hatchlings in a makeshift nursery, and other calamities have befallen tortoises made vulnerable by the project." "Jeff Lovich, a research ecologist with the Southwest Biological Science Center, has studied the impact of renewable energy projects on desert tortoises for the U.S. Geological Survey. He says the potential environmental effects of building and operating a facility like Ivanpah are enormous, yet there is almost no research on the subject." www.ncpa.org/media/mojave-solar-project-killing-threatened-desert-tortoisesIt is illegal to harm the tortoises, yet the project gets away with killing them in huge numbers.

A bunch of things:
1 - the desert tortoise is (to excuse the odd metaphor) a massive red herring. Ivanpah is on a relatively tiny site, bang adjacent to a massive Interstate Highway between LA and Vegas, in an otherwise massive and undisturbed desert area. Do we really think the solar farm puts more tortoises at risk than I-15?
2 - I was waiting for the Pachauri sex scandal to crop up here. It says nothing about the IPCC's work. Just that Pachauri might be a sex pest.
3 - Of course almost all government climate funding goes to scientists who are published and peer reviewed, and therefore to ones who aren't imagining fantasy-land drivers for climate change when there's a very clear and obvious mechanism already in place.

Goodness. Rick lets us have both barrels. Not aware of the irony of claiming the IPCC is going into denial, while he blithely tries to distract attention from Willie Soon's train wreck.
