Bigger floods?
What do want to do, build flood barriers sixty feet high along all the rivers?
Modern building practice is one of the biggest causes of flooding.

Again, you are trying to avoid the question. Faced with a changing climate, be it natural or man made, should we do nothing or try to find ways to deal with the impact it will have?

I don't have to. I choose to, because you're too chicken to answer a question.
Whatever is causing climate change, is worth while taking steps to mitigate its impacts?

So, do as I suggested, turn of your central heating, walk everywhere, don't fly in aero planes, don't take ocean cruises, etc etc etc.
Other people already do that, the people I spent a working holiday day do it every day.

My question was not specifically about anthropogenic climate change. Go and read it again, then answer the question I asked, not the one you think I asked.

I answered your question, you just didn't understand it.
You are like one of the guys who came out to The Gambia with us, he was a School Teacher too, by coincidence, talks a lot, does nothing.

You answered my first question ("You think a warming planet is not worth worrying about?"). This was my second question: Even putting aside the Very Strong Scientific Evidence that human activity is driving climate change, and pretending that the last 45 years of pretty consistent warming can be attributed to natural factors, you don't think there is any reason to plan ahead for more frequent bigger floods, stronger storms, hotter summers and the population of Bangladesh looking for somewhere else to live? Your response to that suggests a complete lack of comprehension as to what the question was actually about.

I'm well aware of what the question is, I also know some of the solutions, you might too, but are reluctant to adopt them.

Not if the climate change is natural, as you contend.
You didn't understand the question.

Oh, it's natural, you contend it's man made, some of it probably is, so, you turning off your heating and computer shows how concerned you are and are doing something, other than just talking about it.

We're making progress ...
So you agree there is probably some anthropogenic element in recent warming?
Might I be so bold as to nudge you in the direction of the consensus of scientific opinion, that the majority of warming since 1980 has been a result of human 'greenhouse gas' emissions?

Answering the question immediately above your reply would be a start. It would make me happy to get an unequivocal 'yes' or 'no' from you.

Some is due to mankind , most is natural process, what else would you like me to say?
Now tell me what you propose/suggest mankind should do about it?
