No it is not a 'gay' thread, it was suposed to be a nice birthday thread then you added your nasty comment, though I am not your biggest fan I would have expected better from you. Shameful comment, if you cannot see that then you are even thicker than first presumed.

If you had a happy birthday thread, and I posted - for no reason at all - 'Hope you don't get breast cancer before your next birthday', would that seem appropriate to you?

Perhaps saying 'Hope you don't get syphilis or gonorrhea before your next birthday' would be a better comparison.
Breast cancer doesn't have the same sexual connotations.

Feral already did that. I used a malady which had no sexual connotation precisely because it's just as irrelevant on a birthday thread as Sweet Soul's comment. And I didn't make a comparison, but merely asked a question. Comparisons may be made depending on the (unlikely) forthcoming answer.

I have no intention of getting AIDS before I am 41. You can only contract HIV first anyway AIDS come later.
I always protect myself and wear a condom. I am sure SS will never catch an STD as she has a permanent black wheelie bin liner ******* ** *** **** ***** ****** *****.
