The reason that it is so hard to breed Pandas and why the population is going down, is that when they get in private they look at each other and say "ah you're so cute...let's just have a hug."

"This Insect Has The Only Mechanical Gears Ever Found in Nature""To the best of our knowledge, the mechanical gear—evenly-sized teeth cut into two different rotating surfaces to lock them together as they turn—was invented sometime around 300 B.C.E. by Greek mechanics who lived in Alexandria. In the centuries since, the simple concept has become a keystone of modern technology, enabling all sorts of machinery and vehicles, including cars and bicycles." "As it turns out, though, a three-millimeter long hopping insect known as Issus coleoptratus beat us to this invention." "The finding, which was published in Science, is believed to be the first functional gearing system ever discovered in nature." getpocket.com/explore/item/this-insect-has-the-only-mechanical-gears-ever-found-in-nature?utm_source=pocket-newtab

Interesting, but that's not gearing is it? That's a mesh, a comb, velcro or a zipper. It provides no mechanical advantage, it ties to legs together in order to synchronise their kinetic effort.

"An animal able to regenerate all of its organs even when it is dissected into three parts""An extraordinary discovery in the Gulf of Eilat: Researchers from Tel Aviv University have discovered a species of ascidian, a marine animal commonly found in the Gulf of Eilat, capable of regenerating all of its organs – even if it is dissected into three fragments." “The ability to regenerate organs is common in the animal kingdom, and even among chordates you can find animals that regenerate organs, like the gecko who is able to grow a new tail. But not entire body systems. Here we found a chordate that can regenerate all of its organs even if it is separated into three pieces, with each piece knowing exactly how to regain functioning of all its missing body systems within a short period of time.” wattsupwiththat.com/2021/05/07/an-animal-able-to-regenerate-all-of-its-organs-even-when-it-is-dissected-into-three-parts/
