If this has got legs, then he's gotta be f**k*d. There's only so much bollocks that even the most degenerate Labour voter will stomach.

Oh dear Jeremy, didn't you know there are security cameras on trains?

You right-wing lot are odd. You complain when social democrat politicians behave in a proletarian way and sit on the floor of the train. If he'd sat on a chair you'd claim that he was arriviste uppity bourgeousie and not a true man of the people.
"Oh, look at Jeremy Corbyn, sitting in a chair, thinking he's better than the rest of us. Champagne socialist! Next thing you know he'll be living in a house rather than under Waterloo Bridge, and he'll be wearing clothes that aren't soiled NHS cast-offs. How can he possibly believe in making life better for the poor?", you'd say.

No, we're complaining that he's a liar. Not really complaining really, as he's not our problem and, being a socialist, dishonesty is hard-wired into him.

When I first saw the photo, I just assumed that it was a drunk tramp that had fallen over on the train.

Even voice knows he's a liability.
Virgin have hit back showing Corbyn walking past empty, unreserved seats to take up his position on the floor. The film was shot, and then he went back to an empty seat.

Hope he hangs on though. For the good of The Republic.

It's interesting that the person who wants the rail network re-nationalised is the one who gets "incriminating" footage released by one of the private rail companies, isn't it?

Could that be because he's the only one who's lied about not getting seat? Unless you think all the other party leaders have lied about not getting seats on trains but he's the one who gets picked on.

I imagine all the other ones had special golden carriages reserved for them alone. Corbyn was probably forced to sit on the floor at knifepoint by some of Branson's goons.

I'd have had no issue with him shooting a film about over crowded trains if that was what happened, but he did a cheep silly stunt then went back to the empty seats for the rest of his journey. The man simply lacks credibility

If mids had bothered to read on: The filmmaker said there were a number of other passengers sitting on the floor during the initial part of the trip. “We filmed Jeremy Corbyn at 11.30am, sat at the front of the train. There were many other people sat on the floor during that journey.
“After the video was shot we managed to get a seat at around 11.40am, because Virgin staff moved people around the train, but other people were unable to get a seat.”
Virgin’s version was contradicted by a woman who said she had also sat on the floor of the train next to Corbyn, having sent a social media photo of herself and her daughter with the Labour leader.
Ellen – who asked to not be fully named – told the Guardian that Corbyn had seemingly gone through the entire standard-class section of the train but had not been able to find a seat. The 26-year-old, who was with her one-year-old daughter and son, aged six, said she had similarly been unable to find seats.
“He’s not lying,” she said. “When I saw him he was in coach A, right at the front. He hadn’t managed to find a seat in the whole of the train. I was sat on the floor, there was no space for me to get a seat. There were people in every space between every carriage. It was totally overcrowded. They were full of bags and full of people.” Though if the Virgin conception of events turns out to be correct, Corbyn should be roasted. This sort of Blairite spin and lies is exactly what he isn't meant to do. And over something as crappy as train seats.

The man simply lacks credibility Voice, unsurprisingly, immediately accepts the Bliar-Mids line as genuine without applying the least scepticism. Is that the Two Minutes Hate over for the day, voice?

bollox, he clearly walked past empty seats, filmed a silly little stunt, went back to a seat and sat in comfort for the rest of the journey. All very 6th form. not sure how this can be defended even by the Sid Sparts on the far left fringes of the party (not that it will stop them tying themselves in knots to do so)
