True. Although it does illustrate the disturbing amount of power that the Republican moneybags have, the influence that the likes of the Mercers and Adelsons and Kochs have (although the Kochs have been conspicuously absent from Trumpism).
Who'd have thought that these billionaires who basically own the Republican party would be given a huge, massive donation in the form of a tax break? It's an amazing coincidence.

Wait, I thought Trump was going to "drain the swamp" and "take care of the forgotten Americans".
You mean he was just bullshitting us the whole time? NO WAY!!

as Bill Clinton says,, "It's the economy stupid" But that didn't seem to matter under Obama's good economy. And Clinton was the guy conservatives constantly busted on for his questionable character (despite the good economy at the time). But now we are told a president's character doesn't really matter. Do you see a pattern here jim?

Good Lord Almighty, can you imagine the reaction from the armchair patriots if O (or any Dem) forgot the words to the national anthem?
They'd be calling for a civil war as soon as they changed their underpants.

Wal-Mart Raises Hourly Wage to $11 in Wake of Tax Overhaul Largest private U.S. employer to give bonuses of up to $1,000 Company says tax reform allows acceleration of U.S. plans Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is boosting its starting hourly wage to $11 and delivering bonuses to employees, capitalizing on the U.S. tax overhaul to stay competitive in a tightening labor market. The increase takes effect next month and will cost $300 million on top of wage hikes that were already planned, the world’s largest retailer said Thursday. The one-time bonus of up to $1,000 is based on seniority and will amount to an additional $400 million. The company is also expanding its maternity and parental leave policy and adding an adoption benefit. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-11/wal-mart-raises-u-s-hourly-wage-to-11-in-wake-of-tax-overhaulAnother company, Making America Great Again, every Democrat opposes this “Tax reform gives us the opportunity to be more competitive globally and to accelerate plans for the U.S.,” Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon said in the statement.

So we agree that there's no harm increasing the minimum wage to $11 an hour or more?

There is no harm in companies increasing their starting pay, if they wish. A thriving economy removes the need for government to try to force companies to pay more

Wal-Mart, the huge welfare recipient is going to raise wages! Not enough to get their full-time workers off food stamps mind you, but it's good PR for the Trumpanzees.
In other news, Trump tweets out against a bill he was supposed to be supporting after he watched them talking it down on Fox and Friends. Sad when you are an illiterate buffoon!

Apparently he's now on good terms with "Rocket Man". “I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un,” Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I have relationships with people. I think you people are surprised.” When Trump was asked if he has spoken with Kim, Trump said he didn’t want to comment. “I’m not saying I have or haven’t,” Trump said. “I just don’t want to comment.” thehill.com/homenews/administration/368572-trump-i-have-a-very-good-relationship-with-kim-jong-un
