Apparently they're going to work off their sentences doing light gardening work in the Windsor area.

"light gardening work"
Is that a euphemism?

Not unless it's uphill.

I understand that the going rate for a specialist American gardener can be as much as £1000/hour. No questions asked. Certainly none answered, unless you fancy your chances in a French taxi ...

Totally exonerated?

Nah. Still guilty as sin. Just can't be punished for it.

Baloo has it. Guilty as sin. But couldn't be prosecuted on this case because of a cock-up by a previous prosecutor, and couldn't be prosecuted for other ones because of statute of limitation issues.

The poor women. I have seen a lot online where people don’t realise it was overturned not because he’s innocent but because of a technicality.

Baloo is basically right. America has a really f**k*d up judicial system.
More precisely - the previous prosecutor made a deal with Cosby that if he testified about this particular crime in a civil trial, he wouldn't be prosecuted for it in a criminal trial. That was back in about 2005, I think.
Once Cosby was being prosecuted after it became clear he was a predatory rapist, all the other crimes were outside the statute of limitations in Pennsylvania, so this was the one crime left that was available to the prosecution.
He was convicted, and is guilty as sin, but because he wasn't allowed to be prosecuted for this case, the judgement is void.

You know what? I wouldn't be looking quite so pleased with myself if I was rapey Bill. That sort of thing might just encourage a good ole lynching and I reckon most people could get behind that.

Yeah, too bad about Cosby. The guy who always enjoyed lecturing others on how to be a good, morale person.
