Not where I live. Unless he's your brother-in-law or cousin, forget it.

Yeah, I rather got the impression that jobbing tradesmen were like unicorns in France. Judging by what I've seen, most post-construction electrics is either done by a relative who is willing to lash it up or by a team of mad, spastic schoolboys.

The artisans are very good when you can find them. But expensive. And yes, the cowboys exist. Any young person who wants a good living just needs to learn a trade; can't understand all this 'can't find a job' bollocks. Might have mentioned it before, but I knew a kid straight out of school who went to the last cooper in SE England, begged for a job doing anything for a pittance, making tea, sweeping up etc., and is now one of the few wheelmaker/cartwrights in the country awash with work and making a fortune mending horsey folks' carriages.

Our neighbour across the street was a cooper. He got laid off (mid 70s ish) and started making small, decorative barrels. Didn't work out. He died pretty young, unemployed I think.

Person regrets an electrical surgical procedure is hardly news. Electrical as in an AC/DC procedure?

Person regrets an electrical surgical procedure is hardly news. No, it isn't. But demanding a procedure and giving permission for it and then trying to sue the doctors for doing what they wanted is news.

Did you read the article you posted? “ Normally, if Ms. Bell were an adult when she initially went to the clinic, I would have a bit less sympathy for her. That’s a radical decision to make, but we all have to take responsibility for the choices we make in life and she was the one asking for the “treatment.” But Bell makes a very valid point when she says that children are unable to offer meaningful consent for major medical decisions. This is an accepted principle in American courts when talking about anything from sexual consent to getting a tattoo.”

Well that's not entirely true when we first discussed this a few weeks back I pointed out this would not have been a rushed process and there would have several different points as while h she could have changed her mind. Plus I'm certain her age would have been discussed and at least 2 clinicians would have assessed her to make sure Gilick Competance was met. I would not even he surprised if they ran this past the ethics committee.
As I said last time buyers remorse. I expect the case will get no where

The point he is making is covered in it.

We have to make allowances for everyone and their take on things, but for the life of me I don't see how anyone can see Trump in action and not realise immediately that he's a dangerously peculiar person who shouldn't be in a position of power.

It's a pity that, if we are going to lose millions of people, the mortality couldn't be a bit more focused. We could probably live without whole tranches of the population. People who say things like "Basically, sh*t is getting real" for example.
