How etc. This is surely a bid for internet stardom from the still wannabe teen rather than a genuine complaint? "A shopper has shared her fury after being asked to 'pull her t-shirt over her shorts' during a trip to Sainsbury's. Lauren O'Connor, 33, a PR director from Surrey, says she was in the Staines branch of the grocery store when a member of staff approached her with the request, telling her that a male customer had complained about the length of her shorts. Slamming the encounter as 'sexist', Lauren argued that she was entitled to 'wear shorts in the 32 degree heat', and questioned why the member of staff had repeated the request to her - adding that there was no dress code apart from a mask, which she had been wearing." Ahem...

I particularly liked this:
'I'm so livid about it. When are we going to stop giving the space for men who can't stop being perverts?
he's a pervert because he asked you to cover up?

“Lauren O'Connor, 33, a PR director from Surrey, says she was in the Staines branch of the grocery store when a member of staff approached her with the request, telling her that a male customer had complained about the length of her shorts.”
Imagine being the sad bastard who complained about her clothes and the sad staff member who went to speak to her.
Surely if the sad bastard was that offended he could have at least not been a wuss and spoke to her directly.
Funnily enough I saw a similar story today in Sydney. A woman asked to leave a gym and change because she was wearing a workout gym top and cycling shorts. Because there were teenage boys in the gym!

Its funny that those who say you can't enforce mask mandates have no problem trying to enforce dress codes imposed on women.

The unfortunate shop assistant should also have gently guided her away from the bakery and towards the fruit and veg section. In for a penny, in for a pound.

why are you focused on her and not the absurd complainer?
Bet if she was a right looker you'd have a different attitude.

Have you got a photo of the complainer making a ridiculous duckface?

That cameltoe has put me off my peanuts. No wonder the poor bloke couldn't shop straight with her wandering around with a thinly-veiled tuna taco.

why is it her job to control what he chooses to look at or get outraged about, lots of fat ugly blokes out there no one suggests they cover the fcuk up so we don't have to see tons of pasty flabby flesh.

Couldn't care less either way, frankly. She seems like an attention-seaker. Maybe doing it for a bet.

so, some woman minding her own business, shopping and doing nothing to draw attention to herself is the problem here, not some uptight bloke and the shop assistance who instead of telling the bloke he is not forced to look at her and can just choose not to, targets her telling her to cover up.
Thats pretty fcuked up

She was in a shop. Shops have rules. Try going in a shop with no shirt and see how long you last.

Did the shop have a rule about shorts length? It sounds like it didn't. The trigger for the problem was another customer having a whine about her legs.

Common decency. I don't care particularly, but she should perhaps check her privilege and maybe go to SpecSavers.
