.... well, that's the BBC headline. Then you read the article and it's not so clear cut. I'm not saying America isn't a shitpit populated by trigger-happy bigots, but fair's fair.

if you see the video it shows quite clearly he was attacked and executed in the street by a couple armed of red necks. apparently jogging while black is worth of being murdered.

Though this happened in Feb and they initially let the red necks off, it wasn't till the video emerged showing the attacking and murdering the jogger did action get taken

Of course, it would be an odd execution where the condemned man is permitted an opportunity to avoid it and a chance to fight with the executioner.

It seems like a pretty clear cut murder to me. It wasn't "stand your ground" "self defense" which was the bullshit that the Georgia prosecutors kept using to avoid prosecuting their friends who committed the murder.

The dashcam footage is weird, though. Who was filming? Why? And how come it took so long for the video to come to light?

the bloke following the red necks was part of the posse apparently, he probably kept it hidden as long as he could, no idea how it go out, a sudden attack of conscience maybe?

not sure how you could think the video was fake, it would be absurd.

these men were arrested, I assume that someone thinks it is real, I have no opinion on that, I suspect it will be examined by experts who have better equipment then I do,
if I had to guess I would say it is real, but will keep open mind

I think it is a little early to lynch these dudes, they are arrested, it is being investigated, why not give it time, what's the hurry?

Turns out the police had the video from day one, and their initial report states this was the second time the red necks had confronted him, they accosted but him and he ignored them,they then chased him down a second time before executing him
