They were examples of crowds of people out of control. Well, they weren't out of control by design. A crowd of people panicked by a fire is very different to one that's trying not to be controlled. |

Makes me think of the recent one in South Korea - luckily with far fewer deaths. Sad for the woman who died in Brixton as she left behind two (autistic) children. Some of the online stories are disturbing claiming many clamouring to get in actually did have tickets but the venue was hopelessly oversold. I am hoping that’s not true because if so it’s disturbing. |

If events and gigs are banned whenever somebody tries to enter without a ticket….it would mean no events or gigs would ever be held again. I've been to loads of gigs but I've never come across crowds of 100s or even 1000s trying to force their way in. In fact I can't remember anyone ever trying to force their way in. |
