White Supremecist Arrested for bomb plot

Colorado man has appeared in court for allegedly plotting to bomb a synagogue in a case US prosecutors describe as "domestic terrorism".
According to court documents, Richard Holzer planned to bomb the Temple Emanuel synagogue in the town of Pueblo as part of a "racial holy war".
Following a sting operation, the 27-year-old met FBI undercover agents to visit the temple and plan his attack, prosecutors say.
Mr Holzer has not yet entered a plea.
During his court appearance he requested a court-appointed lawyer
FBI special agent John Smith said in an affidavit that Mr Holzer had "used several Facebook accounts to promote white supremacy ideology and acts of violence".
He told undercover officers that he used to be a member of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) - one of the oldest white supremacy groups in the US - and was now a skinhead.

New Jersey killers 'targeted' Jewish supermarket

Police in New Jersey say a Jewish supermarket was the target of a gun attack which left six people dead on Tuesday, including the two suspects.
No motive has yet been given, but the mayor of Jersey City tweeted on Wednesday morning that "hate and anti-Semitism" had no place in the city.
The gun battle began when the suspects killed a detective across town, then drove a rental van to the market.
Security video shows them firing on the market before going inside.
Investigators believe that the three people found dead inside the kosher market were killed by the attackers, who were also found dead inside the building following a four-hour standoff with police.

FBI arrests suspected neo-Nazis ahead of Virginia gun rally

The FBI has arrested three suspected members of a neo-Nazi hate group who planned to travel to a pro-gun rally in Virginia on Monday.

One was a Canadian army reservist who was fired in August over ties to hate groups and has been suspected missing since, Canadian police told the BBC.

Virginia governor Ralph Northam has declared a state of emergency in the city of Richmond ahead of the rally.

He said law enforcement believed there was a threat of violence.

The American founder of US-based militant neo-Nazi group The Base is directing the organisation from Russia, a BBC investigation has found.

Rinaldo Nazzaro, 46, who uses the aliases "Norman Spear" and "Roman Wolf", left New York for St Petersburg less than two years ago.

The Base is a major counter terrorism focus for the FBI.

Seven alleged members were charged this month with various offences, including conspiracy to commit murder.
