Why have you eased up on meat consumption? Serious question. We've practically stopped. Yeah, pretty much. Eggs, dairy and seafood though.

Vegetarian curries with cashews. And potatoes. Must have potatoes. Toasted sandwiches containing avocado, tomato and crispy lettuce. Spinach ravioli with mushroom sauce. Pizza Margherita with loads of olives. Bottle of Barolo.
It's the solstice tomorrow so we're straying to roast guinea fowl.

Potatoes are rubbish in curries. I've never understood it. Just taste weird and have a horrible texture.

Potato curry is fantastic, love it!
Diced of course and maybe briefly pan-fried before added to the rest, depending on the accompanying veg and whether it's going to be a dry dish.

love spuds in curry, though best if they are cooked form raw in the curry so get all the flavor.

Behave like a smoker and pop outside every hour or so for a couple of slices of ham that you keep in your pocket

I hope Boris makes eating meat compulsory. If not, I hope he bans vegan foods that resemble meat.

Just had a couple of pints of Badger Best in the White Hart in Henfield. Most refreshing. Boozer was rammed.

www.bbc.com/news/uk-50969168Sacked vegan brings landmark discrimination case He claims he was unfairly disciplined and the decision to sack him was because of his veganism. The League Against Cruel Sports says he was dismissed for gross misconduct. On Thursday, the employment tribunal will consider whether veganism is a "philosophical belief" akin to a religion. Well it was bound to happen, they are a right bunch of self righteous whiners at the best of times, though its more a cult than a religion.

Seems to me that he broke his contract with his employer. That's the problem with being pious: there is a price to pay.

yep, when you are so utterly convinced only you are right, as this bloke appears to be, its never gonna end well. The world will continues to refuse to revolve round you.

In fairness, he's got a point, but as every fule kno, it's almost impossible to invest in share portfolios without there being some compromise in your own ethical preferences. It's not something that any adult would get bent out of shape over.

I read something about how an ethical portfolio, while possible, just didn't get the same returns. though I suspect he'd not be that bothered if his pension was worthless as a result. Others might not agree that much with him. Its still basically one zealot wanting to decide for everyone else that having a sh*t pension is better for them.

I went for a two hours walk across the beautiful fields of the Surrey Hills yesterday with me Lady Wife.
Walking on public footpaths through fields full of sheep - and one field with a few cows.
If the world went Vegan - there would not be a single sheep; cow or pig in the country side. Maybe just a couple kept in zoos.

If he says he's a Jain, he's covered on the religious front.
