Why is his honour parade in Russia? Was he Russian Israeli? No. He was found by Russian forces who are now in Syria together with Syrian forces. They also returned some of his belongings. Doesn't your media report this fantastic turn of events? |

Yeah, I get that, but why have they taken his remains back to Russia rather than just handing them back to Isreal and, presumably, his next of kin?

I wonder how Avi is going to explain the continued existence of Israel, with all the gayness there is in Tel Aviv. There's surely enough sin in Israel to have upset his god terribly. Yet, no fire and brimstone. No tsunami has swept away the Israelites. You might think this god doesn't exist. Or, maybe the Hebrew god has updated his moral laws. Allah is holding firm to Old Testament values, with his sharia law in force in a number of Muslim countries.

Posting a link to an article written in Hebrew on a facebook page,is odd, even though the story is written in English in multiple articles on the net. I couldn't find it in English but I used to the fact that positive news about Israel does not flood the net like negative ones. Are you? |

You can't get your story straight. Your Hebrew god was an abstract force, like gravity. Now you're describing him as a person, a judge, with a title, a Lord.
However you put it, you've got a primitive mindset, where morality is decided by a mythical being who sets up taboos on a whim and punishes those who disobey him. Your L-rd is an imaginary oriental tyrant.
Morality is simply the sensible way to behave, to enable us to lead the best lives we can.
