The Baader Meinhof Complex, well done movie about the RAF (Red Army Faction) in Germany in the 60s-70s.

That was pretty good. The RAF were more effective in Germany between 1942 and 1945.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
Unspeakable excrement. They should be ashamed. Ashamed.
Unfunny, butchery porn of the worst sort, with the mandatory Word War Jew undertow.

On the plane overnight I watched the first of the Ghostbusters reboots: harmless and not terrible.
I also watched Wicked Little Letters set in Baloo’s ‘hood. Littlehampton, 1920s.
It was such a British film. Jessie Buckley and Olivia Coleman and Tim Spall and the Irish girl is the fun sweary one and the Brits are uptight and everything is low stakes and the whole thing is ridiculously multiethnic for 1920s (or even 2020s) Sussex. It wasn’t bad. Some of our members here would have hated it.

I've been watching House, never bothered when it was on, but since I've been idle for three months, I gave it go. On season seven now, it got tedious a while ago, the medical stuff is weird, almost everyone has a heart attack yet recover remarkably well. Laurie is very good at portraying House.

Watching Succession for the first time, having been given a couple DVDs of it a couple years ago.
Not sure if it's my thing or not, and not sure it's going to be, as I find the ongoing shenanigans with The Murdoch Clan to be so much stranger than fiction.

Wicked Little Letters. Tim Spall and Olivia Coleman in a story based on real events, hut given the full BBC treatment.
Not a bad story, with great characters, and it would have stood on its own merit, without the need for invention.
