So Trump saying "go back where you came from" is telling 3 of the 4 to go back to Detroit, Cincinnati, and New York City. 1) He told them to go back to their countries. Ohio, New York and Michigan are not countries. Where Omar is born is irrelevant. The US has been her only home since childhood. 2) Now we delve into your and his extreme racism and misogyny when you argue that non-white women have no place in Congress? If you are going to illogically argue that by "countries" he means states in the USA. Why then shouldn't Trump go back to his "country" of New York? |

His rally tonight was a study in white supremacist rabble rousing, the whole crowd whipped up to scream 'send her back, send her back'. His supporters really do end up sounding like the sheep in Animal Farm.

If the GOP had really wanted to pass a relief bill they only had to vote for the once the house sent them, the fact is they changed it to something no thinking person could support, while I know you lot only want to focus on a small part, those of us with critical thinking skills can see the big picture of what McConnell was trying to achieve

Oh, and we already know that it's ok when your side uses the so-called racist language that Trump used. Exactly that. Revoking their citizenship on the basis of their skin colour is racist. It's not that hard Rick - why are you struggling this? Can you explain why it is not racist to tell a non-white person born in the USA to "go back to their country" when they are speaking in the USA? It's actually racist against all 4 but it becomes particularly insidious when aimed at those with nowhere to "go back to". They are in the only home they have ever known. And he said specifically said they were from countries with disfunctional or non existing governments and as such had no right to criticise the US, they should return to those countries and sort them out before returning to the US to tell em how it went. I am pretty certain he employs the "go back to your country" rhetoric when faced with black/brown people he does not like and he certainly sees them as lesser citizens than white Americans. That's why he sees no issue with it. Ditto most Republicans who are shown as being supportive of Trump's comments. It's the politics of white supremacy which, let's face it, is what the US was founded on. It just goes to sleep from time to time. |

You don’t see why it’s racist to assign nationality to skin colour to such an extent that a black woman whose lineage in the US goes back centuries (pre-dating Trump) Is still told to go “back” to some mythical other place?
