It's very odd. Like everyone just got bored of it. I can't quite work out why the Syrian army hasn't just steamrollered the last few IS holdout. Are they in rebel areas or are they just happy to keep them in what are effectively concentration camps?

To be honest I've lost track of the whole thing, I do remember watching the Russian war ships sailing passed here, ugly old things they were,I was surprised the bloody things could still float.

Last I heard they'd tried re-grouping in Afghanistan but got their arses kicked. As for Syria, Russia and Turkey are meddling away quietly while Assad's getting his men to do a bit of tidying up. I think.
