England have been in many World Cup Finals, and won the last cricket one. But, yes, very impressive and the first football world cup final in my lifetime. |

England by far the better team in the first half hour. Fairly even until half time. Oz slightly on top until they scored their absolute belter. England again started playing too deep after taking a lead. Equalizer got England out of their shell and going forward again.
England have been in lots of close games, rarely dominating. But I think they've deserved all their wins.

I'll be way off grid for the final and won't know the result till I gert back on the 27th, but I hope they beat Spain who played dire football in their last game, hate teams more focused on not loosing than winning.
