If Twain wrote that, it doesn’t sound like something that’s “increasingly” happening.

As the lovely Sharon said:
"If we, as a fair society, want equal opportunities for females to medals, team places, safe sport and scholarships, with all the associations, rewards and careers, sport must be based on biological sex."
There's really no reason to injure women just to promote a faqntasy ideal.

I think it's a pretty niche issue. It affects tiny numbers of people.
Are they also going to ban strong women from playing rugby, though, given that strength seems to make them worried about player safety. What about banning guys who are stronger than average from playing dude's rugger?

For all the far, extreme left's squeaking about male violence against women, it seems like xhey don't really mean it.

Men already weren’t playing women’s rugby. This is not letting a certain class of woman play women’s rugby.
It seems like a tiny issue
- very few people play rugby. - very few people are trans - even fewer women than men play rugby - i cant’t imagine that many people who have gone through the effort to live as women having been born as men are desperate to also play rugby - and I imagine of that tiny group, very few If any are going to be larger and stronger than the largest, strongest women already playing women’s rugby, so there’s very unlikely to be any actual “danger” issues.
It’s so niche that it’s weird that people here are concerned about it.

It certainly sounds like a bollocks excuse, the “we can’t have strong people playing rugby because it’s dangerous” line.

That might be the mackerel snappers and the Scouts though. And yet, somehow, the All Blacks are allowed to play against teams of pathetic weaklings from Scotland.

But no men are pretending to be women in order to get on to the Maidstone women’s third fifteen.
And there never was a loophole.

That's fine. No men will be turning out for the Women's 15. Well done the RFU
