It doesn't, unless he tries to capitalise on it, fraudulently.

Mixed species, more like. Anyway, why does it matter about his background? With the overwhelming dominance of politics by the wealthy elite from wealthy elite backgrounds, we have a ruling class that is completely removed from understanding how many people in this country live.

I think you're falling victim to wishful reading. What makes you think he came from a working class family? Is it the grammar school? It’s the factory worker dad, nurse mom, and the mention of being the first person in his family to enter higher education.

Factory worker father? Haha! Yeah, I've worked in factories. My boss worked in a factory. Did it occur to you that he might have owned the factory in which he worked?
Most of the nurses that I know are from solidly middle class families. It was seen as an entirely respectable occupation for young women, before marriage.
I see you've managed to spot that Reigate Grammar was fee-paying during his time there.
Honestly, talk about easily mugged off.

He's the least middle class of the leadership contenders but he's still, like you, solidly middle class.

And you said I was a cleaner - cleaning is solidly working class.

An impression that your hubris and lack of savvy have allowed you to swallow hook, line and sinker.

Would be fairly easy to determine if he owned it and yet, none of the articles about him state that...

Biog, not blog. There's no validity in Baloo's rant, just his usual.
Although Reigate school...

We was a company director and he paid to send at least one of his kids to a fee-paying, private school. Both facts. You don't know what a toolmaker is, do you?

You don't think Reigate Grammar was fee-paying when he went there?
