Most of the nurses that I know are from solidly middle class families. It was seen as an entirely respectable occupation for young women, before marriage.

The grammar became free paying when he worked there.

He is from a solidly working class background.

Prove he didn't. We was a company director and he paid to send at least one of his kids to a fee-paying, private school. Both facts.
