"Starmer says he supported the strikes. On the question of further strikes, he says he would consider whether to support them "on its merits""

"We turn now to the Israel-Gaza war.
Stamer says both the "sheer number of deaths" in Gaza and that Israeli hostages are still being held is "intolerable".
"We need a sustainable ceasefire," he says - adding that the question is how we get there.
Starmer says a "humanitarian truce" is needed, and hostages released, which would in turn "provide space for the dialogue needed"."
Please, somebody make him stop talking.

Rightyho. So saying that British citizens shouldn't go and fight for a foreign power that the ICC has ruled to be engaging in genocide and war crimes is anti-semitic?
I think we know how broken this logic is by now. Starmer is a pathetic coward who has decided that winning elections is the only thing, and that winning elections can only be done through Blairite triangulation and appealing to the dumb-market tabloids, and the one thing they lap up is accusations of left-wing antisemitism so therefore anyone who ever says the wouldn't fellate Benjamin Netanyahu if he asked them to is considered and anti-semite and can be sacked and that's Starmer's single, sole policy position on anything.
It's f**k**g horrific and if the Tories were even marginally not evil and useless they'd probably romp away with this year's general election.

Just like everything is woke, it now appears everything is anti-Semitic.
Journalist Stephen Pollard has apparently been whining that women not wanting to date him is anti-Semitic.

It's the ICJ that hasn't found that Israel is committing genocide, not the ICC.

But you're fine with British citizens going off and fighting for non-British forces in non-British conflicts, committing war crimes?

As long as it's the good guys who aren't doing bad stuff (the IDF) and not some Isis cunts, yes.

I mean British people join the French Foreign Legion so the principle is sound.

As much of an arse as Starmer is, he really should be standing up to this sort of moronic wankiness.

Doesn’t seem to have dented Labour support recently, does it?
No problems with the Tories. Great leader, great candidates, great vision, great delivery, great record. Such strength in depth.

Terrible night for Labour; they performed way below expectations. Of course the real winner is centre-left party, Reform UK.

Yeah, it sounds like the electorate are disappointed that the Conservative haven't been Conservative enough.

That’s right. Reform has split the Right-wing vote from stem to stern. Marvellous.

Depends on whether you're confident in Starmer's offers, whatever that might be.

A reminder that in a de facto binary system you end up wanting the less terrible to win, to move the overton window however slightly. Starmer's sh*t Labour is terrible but less terrible than Sunak's sh*t Tories, therefore in places like Wellingborough Labour winning is an improvement.
