Bah, no-one's asked me to sh*t on a tray yet.
Well, not for medical reasons at least.
Agreed about blood tests not being comprehensive. I've had a medical condition which has been dragging on for over a year and get my blood tested every couple of months. Every time I see a GP it's a different one, and they don't seem to have read my records. I even have to tell them what to test for over the usual.
Irritating.

Oh yes, alive and bordering on the dangerous side of being fabulous. This is no doubt due to my excellent genes and genetics and totally ignoring all medical advice, another of their stock phrases.... " stop smoking, stop drinking, zero coke inhalation, and if you must insist on mixing it with the local wildlife, wear a condom ! "

The only necking is copious amounts of rum, a truly magnificent semi liquid made exclusively by my friend the voodoo priest, and preferably drunk before the cockerel crows. As the cockerel also participates he rarely manages to summon up a crow worthy of listening to.

New Speaker? Labour's man caught doing their bidding. "Sir Lindsay Hoyle is to hold talks with party leaders after Wednesday's debate on a call for a ceasefire in Gaza descended into chaos More than 30 MPs have signed a motion of no confidence in Sir Lindsay because he broke with convention to allow a vote on a Labour amendment to a SNP proposal The Speaker, who must remain politically impartial at all times, faced accusations that he'd allowed Labour to "hijack" the proceedings - and later apologised." www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-68349957There are some funny pics of old Lindsay going full gammon.

You'd have thought that there would be plenty of things to debate about than a fantasy ceasefire. Still it exposes Labour for the cheating, corrupt scum that they are.

This will be Britain under Labour except there'll be no inspections. Khan's Rahman. "Government inspectors are being sent in to Tower Hamlets Council after concerns about how it is being run under its independent mayor, Lutfur Rahman. They have been asked to look at a range of issues including how money is spent and senior job appointments. Mr Rahman was removed as mayor of the east London borough in 2015 after being found guilty of electoral fraud but was re-elected two years ago." www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68372130

"Sir Keir Starmer’s campaign manager failed to declare £700,000 in donations amid concern that some of the funds came from a Jewish donor who needed to be protected from anti-Semitism in the Labour Party, The Telegraph has learned.
Morgan McSweeney’s think tank was investigated by the Electoral Commission after he failed to register donations received by Labour Together, an organisation he ran until 2020, when he became Sir Keir’s chief of staff.
Now The Telegraph has learnt that during the time Mr McSweeney failed to register support from millionaire venture capitalists and businessmen, concerns had been raised about protecting a high-profile Jewish donor."
Haha.

Indeed. "It's fair to say this hasn't been your regular by-election build-up, with Labour withdrawing support for candidate Azhar Ali a fortnight before polling day over comments he apparently made about Israel and Jewish people. He was still listed as the Labour candidate on the ballot paper because under electoral law it was too late to replace him. If he is elected, he'll sit as a independent MP or join another party." www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-68402672
