True. I'm always reminded of a line from one of those South American drugs cartel drama series from a few years ago. Despite all their billions and trappings of success, one of the US cops remarked, "These people are savages. They barely know how to use a knife and fork". Perfectly summed up the huge gap between their lavish lifestyles and any sort of knowledge of the world outside their own narrow one.
