SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.

Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.

But cyber expert Josh Merritt, who is on the team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, told The Washington Times that packet captures are unrecoverable in the data and that the data, as provided, cannot prove a cyber incursion by China.

So, it was a bunch of right wing idiots, goaded on by Trump and Giuiliani, who got it into their heads that they could overturn the election, who had a riot in the Capitol. But because it wasn't a fully organised, pre-conceived plot (frankly, I doubt that Trump or Giuiliani are smart enough to think the three steps ahead needed to create a plot in that sense) then it's totally fine and nothing to worry about and we shouldn't even be thinking about right-wing rioters who tried to have a revolution and apparently threatened to kill a bunch of members of congress. This kind of thing can happen all the time now. When a bunch of woke critical race theorist marxists ride into Congress and the Whitehouse next time the Republicans win, and hold the entire process hostage with guns provided by the Taliban (which is why Biden left them the weapons in the first place), nobody will raise and eyebrow or care at all?

A couple of things the mendacious terrorist excusing idiots at Red State totally overlooked in their quest to normalize the idea that if the right looses it's perfectly fine to use violence to overthrow democracy is that at no point did anyone say the Q shaman was any kind of leader in the insurrection, and secondary is that while Trumps mob was made up of a lot of indevidual thugs just there cos Trump had convinced them to riot and "stop the steal' there were a number of well organized far right white supremacists and proto fascists groups such as the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and so on, within the mob with a clear plan and agenda working in coordination.
