Though anyone who think the danger has passed is not paying attention, just look up thread at the idiot, he's representative of a cult that sincerely believes the only legitimate election results are if those results say the republican won and no amount of facts and evidence is gonna persuade them otherwise. This will be repeated in 2022 if the dems by some miracle hold the house and senate, also in 2024 if the GOP's efforts at state level don't kill democracy enough for them to either get large numbers not to vote or have goons in place who can simply disregard the will of the electorate, cos everyone knows the GOP are not fighting on policy, they are going full on culture war as they've lost any meaningful chance of ever gaining the majority as things stand. Their only chance is ending meaningful democratic elections and the red states are going full bore on this effort.

The recall failed by an absolutely immense margin. Which is excellent and might be a decent omen for the 2022 mid-terms. The public may not think the Democrats are brilliant, but when they see the Trumpy alternative and realise how utterly terrifying it is, they get themselves out.
