An interesting thing just happened in Iowa, their primary went really well cos they had a system of making postal voting and in person voting really easy, huge turn out, no hitches at all. Doubt anyone is surprised that the GOP dominated house and Senate just passed legislation to make sure this never happens again, they've effectively crippled the system that worked so well last week, and on top of that are purging the voter rolls of anyone who didnt vote last time.
The GOP are simply not interested in free and fair elections and preserving democracy, only getting and holding power by what ever underhand scheme they can dream up.

Massive lead by Biden now, ahead nationally by a massive 14 points and ahead by 4 or 5 in every swing state Biden Takes Dominant Lead as Voters Reject Trump on Virus and Race A New York Times/Siena College poll finds that Joseph R. Biden Jr. is ahead of the president by 14 points, leading among women and nonwhite voters and cutting into his support with white voters. www.nytimes.com/2020/06/24/us/politics/trump-biden-poll-nyt-upshot-siena-college.html

Like, 8% bigger lead than Hillary ever had. Also, even when Hillary had her biggest leads she was polling in the low-mid-40s with loads of undecided voters in the sample. In that NYT poll Biden's at 50%: even if every undecided voter swung to Trump he wouldn't win the popular vote.

Well, the alternative - a man who actively wants less Covid testing, which may result in hundreds of thousands more dead Americans, because his vanity can't handle seeing increasing numbers - is worse than a senile old man.
Doesn't remember his own name > killing people because of vanity.

Trumps on shakey ground trying to push Biden being senile given his own apparent advancing dementia and how doddery he looks as he struggles to walk down a flat ramp.
And really what does it say about Trump that hes trailing across the board by massive margins to a senile bloke?

and senility will make things all better. ok It'll be better than actively making things worse. And it means power will be delegated to competent technocrats.

Its f**k**g hilarious watching the pearl clutching idiot, 'Biden, senile old fool how could vote for that?'. Then it's 'how dare you, its ageist to point out Trumps a doddery old fool, Shame on you'
The hypocracy is so hard baked into the idiot, he cant see how foolish he looks.

about the polls. most polls poll registered voters, not likely voters. in 2016 only 55% of registered voters voted. This is true. Traditionally Likely Voters gives a couple of percent better results for Republicans than Registered Voters. There's nothing that can overcome this level of lead, though, no matter how hard the Republicans try to suppress voting. There's also some thinking that the registered/likely voter bias may be swinging the other way as college educated people are (a) more likely to vote and (b) swinging Democrat. The rural white poor who are now the second Republican demographic after Very Old People are quite a lot less likely to vote. Very Old People are most likely to vote, so that's the one straw Republicans have to clutch at, but they might all be scared of going to the polls during a pandemic. And not willing to use a postal vote after being told how terrible postal voting is by their candidates.

BTW, Fox News polling today has Biden leading in:
Georgia +2 Texas +1 North Carolina +2 Florida +9
Just have a thing about that for a moment. How the hell has Trump managed to do so badly that fewer registered voters support him than Senile Joe? In Texas? In Georgia?

I saw that. Fair enough to want to distance yourself from the bloke, but the legal action's a bit gay.
They should have left it at "we do not endorse Donal Trump."

Nah, they worked hard for decades to get where they are today, Trump thinks he can do what the hell he likes, but in this case, its a no no.
