Watched France/Portugal last night. Not a bad game but it sort of petered out - we sat there unaware that it had ended wondering why the players were strolling about.

Neither England nor Germany have looked all that good yet. But neither have they looked terrible. The Germans looked shaky against Hungary yesterday but decent against (and not great) Portugal earlier. Neither team seems to know how to score goals.
You wouldn't be an idiot for betting on a low scoring draw followed by penalties - which the Germans will have practiced and the English won't...

What an absolutely wonderfully nuts day of football. Both matches, and this one isn't done yet.
And that's after a particularly nuts and crashy (although not actually very interesting) stage of the Tour de France.
And Britain's Andy Murray just won at Wimbledon after Scotland's Andy Murray blew a 5-0 lead in the third set.
