The first half hour was 2021 England: but they’ve lost their heads since them and look like England teams of yore. Everyone’s scared of possession and there are lots of hyperoptimistic diagonal forward passes which just give possession back.
The final 10 minutes of normal time has been a fraction better. Pick it back up!

The only way to make football mildly interesting would be the two teams wear the same strip, and goalies were allowed guns.

Nauseating: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-57832402I see that this evening 5 out of 13 front page articles on the BBC are about the silliness over the three penalty specialists. It's cheap copy I suppose, but I doubt the BBC's level of investment reflects public interest or concern.

Good. It shows what a positive effect taking the knee has had, but also why it's still needed. And how Marcus Rashford is better at doing things for Britain than anyone in the current government.
I'm just surprised that the BBC is reporting on it given their general pandering to the racists.

Is that what monogenuflection is all about?
