What happened to dogs just wandering the streets on their own? That was pretty common in the 70s. Haha. Yeah, Frank Skinner often talks about that. He says that it would never have occurred to them to take their dogs for a walk. They just let them out and they came back when they were done. They didn't even own a lead. |

Chewing bones causes white dog poo, no? I think stray dogs get eaten by immigrants now. I think it was because of the ash because dogs still eat bones. |

Typo. I meant dogfood. They used to bulk it out with ash from (I guess, rendering plants or power stations) I believe.

Our street had a sort of semi-communal dog. Shep- a bit border collie, a bit mutt. Nice dog though. He used to follow us around and sort of just hang out with us much of the time. Then you'd see other dogs just padding about the place. Mostly harmless apart from shitting wherever they felt like.

Tour de France has been fun, but comes to an end tomorrow. Yesterday’s T20 between England and Pakistan was hugely entertaining. I missed yesterday’s 24-8 win for the Padres which is a ridiculous score for baseball.
Looking forward to two weeks of covid tests and isolation and empty stadia for the Tokyo Olympics. It’s going to be an absolute sh*t-show.
