Yes they were sacked for gross misconduct for this reason. However as far as racists are concerned, given the people they molested were black then the police have been hard done by.

you know, I actually have no issues with this, the blokes a cnut, nothing these chumps do is engendering support for their campaign, its just about being arseholes and pissing everyday people off. Plus nothing the cop did would have caused any lasting damage.

I saw a vid from police in France who when confronted with the same sort who had glued themselves to the road, they simply yanked em up and carted them off, where as in the UK they use solvents to gently remove them.

So, I'm sympathetic to the cause, and I think the ability to protest is important, and the police should be restrained when dealing with anyone rather than resorting to force. But on the other hand, the bloke seemed like a whiny cunt who had it coming and it made me laugh a bit.

The thing about Sue Ellen is that she already lost her job for leaking cabinet info to outsiders. It's the kind of thing that is sufficiently corrupt and dodgy and enough to make her utterly unqualified for any job where she might have confidential information that under any other administration she'd have never got close to another job in government. The fact that she is home secretary tells us all we need to know about the appallingness of the Tory Party.
