We did Twelfth Night and it took our English teacher a double period to get to the end of page one. He liked to get into the deeper meanings.

Hahaha! No thank fcuk. Mr Staite. He was a bit scary (so definitely not Lala). He was deputy head (or something) so he sometimes had to go to the office to deal with stuff and leave us reading whatever it was. On his way back along the corridor, he'd below out a question and we were supposed to have the answer ready for when he came through the door.

I don't think it's unreasonable to point out that the sugar trade was absolutely a product of slavery. Also that tea is disgusting and Jane Austen is insufferably boring. maybe whitey should be banned from eating sugar? and using any products that contain wool? and tea is great. lots of health benefits. i drink lipton black (let the arrows fly), uncle lee's organic white, and chammomile. chammomile isn't actually a tea, but it's great if you have trouble sleeping.

You're making a very bizarre extrapolation there.

austen isn't the only one targeted. "The British Library Adds George Orwell, Byron, and More to Dubious List of Shame""The British Library has added George Orwell, Lord Bryon, Ted Hughes, and others to a list of shame for cultural figures with supposed links to slavery." "George Orwell, real name Eric Arthur Blair, is perhaps most famous for his books Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four, was an anti-imperialist and a socialist — although not one who was afraid to call out the wrongdoings of contemporary communist regimes and their apologists — but the British Library saw fit to add him to its shame list because he had a great-grandfather who owned slaves in the Caribbean." "His fortune was long gone by the time Orwell, the son of a sub-deputy opium agent in British India, was born, however, according to the Telegraph, citing the Orwell Society." www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/11/24/the-british-library-adds-george-orwell-byron-more-dubious-list-shame/found guilty for the sins of his great-grandfather.

Rick - seek therapy. Also - you should read your links. I would likely be fact checking anything that still refers to “the Soviet Union” as if it’s a modern thing.

of course you don't. you believe people need to be punished for what their ancestors did hundreds or thousands of years ago.

Although in your hysterical spiel you seem to be suggesting that Orwell is being punished for his ancestors?
How on earth can you punish somebody who died decades ago? You know he’s dead right?

"Barnard College instructor discusses blowing up and gassing whites" "According to The Post Millennial, on the CBC show “q,” Ben Philippe was asked about a segment in his book “Sure, I’ll be your Black Friend” which describes “detonating” white people while nearby air vents spew out noxious gas." “When this race war hits its crescendo, I’ll gather you all into a beautifully decorated room under the pretense of unity,” Philippe said. “I’ll give a speech to civility and all the good times we share; I’ll smile as we raise glasses to your good, white health, while the detonator blinks under the table, knowing the exits are locked and the air vents filled with gas.” www.thecollegefix.com/barnard-college-instructor-discusses-blowing-up-and-gassing-whites-in-coming-race-war/
