Well of course you think it’s good. The Tory party knows their supporter base is racist and fascist so this kind of thing will always get them votes.

To discourage scum from being scum. Maybe they'll think twice. We should probably strip their families of citizenship and blow up their houses too. But it doesn’t discourage you from being scum. The UK Right really becomes more and more diabolical each day. Imagine supporting, not only people being stripped of their citizenship, but without warning and even an ability to face the allegations against you in a court of law. Innocent until guilt is out of the window. Sadly supported by a completely ineffective opposition.

I hope Priti Patel strips herself, Boris Johnson and Mids of their citizenships.

I would love for Priti Patel to be caught up in her own insanity but she won’t be.
As this is really just about finding ways to remove non-whites from the UK (as we saw with the Windrush debacle), I expect to see her broadening the list of things that will make people “a threat to the UK” and thus allowing them to make more people stateless.
But fascist Britons support it so…

Boris Johnson was born in the US so is eligible for US citizenship so therefore is not protected and can have his citizenship revoked, according to the Begum ruling. He is also clearly more dangerous to the UK than almost anyone else. Priti, I believe, can have Ugandan and Indian citizenship through parents and grandparents so her citizenship can also be revoked just fine.

So it's a fair policy then? Good.

Well, we’ll find out. If Boris and Priti and Mids still have citizenship in a month despite being a massive threat to the country we’ll know that it’s not a fair policy and is being used for prejudiced action against only certain classes of citizens.

So, he broke the rules, was using publicly funded space and time for his side hustle. But the Tory appointed commons commissioner decided it wasn't worth the hassle?

In every conceivable way, Labour are worse than the Tories.

The tragedy is that most of British capitalism is not corrupt. There is a strongly competitive culture between firms but also a culture of prudence and respect for the letter of the law that, in my experience, reaches right down into middle management.
It is the system of government that’s corrupt. The mania for privatising public services may have subsided, but the privatisation of governance has not. Over the past 20 years, with Blairism as the instigator, the UK’s system of governance has become a network of commercial relationships, largely divorced from parliament and beyond its scrutiny.

Utter, utter horseshit.

I see Marrx is joining the far, far left New Statesman. I wonder how he'll cope with moving to the right?
