Still finding ways to defend the racists, huh?

We mustn't forget to pay our respects to our Netherlander cousins. It's easy to forget that Peirre Trudeau had a daughter by his second partner.

I do not regard the Millwall fans who booed as racists.
It too easy to just type racist.
They were booing because of the imposition of a vacuous gesture imported from the USA promoted by BLM which brings with it a load of racist bollocks that has not been needed in the UK. The killings of black men by police in the USA is a terrible thing but it should be solved and rectified in the USA and not paraded around sports areas and clubs that have being doing a great deal to sort out racism on their own.

To be fair, the killing of black men by cops the USA has also been overwhelmingly justified by the facts.

Why would you actively boo people who are just expressing anger at racial injustice, rather than just shrugging your shoulders and waiting thirty seconds for the football to start?
Would you boo a minute silence on November 11th because you - rightly - think that what was once an expression of sadness at the death of the conscripted young has been hijacked by nationalists and militarists, and has become a meaningless piece of performative bullshit, and has nothing to do with sport and should be reserved for war memorials? No. You'd shrug your shoulders, think "What plonkers!", and wait for the footy to start.

You'd boo because you don't want racists (blm) to have any power in your tolerant, progressive country.

So much for the Millwall racists not being actual racists. www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-derbyshire-55208369A man has been arrested over "abusive" Facebook posts made during a football match where players were booed for taking the knee. Police said "a number of comments of an abusive nature" were reported as Derby County faced Milwall on Saturday. Milwall said it was "dismayed and saddened" after its fans were heard jeering players before kick-off. Derbyshire Police said a 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences. , but the real problem is people calling for an end to such things apparently...

Interestingly, it doesn't say he was at the game or even if his posts were associated with that game. Or if it was even connected to football at all.

This is some Premiership lateral thinking: "Millwall players will not take a knee before Tuesday's Championship fixture against QPR but will stand arm-in-arm in a "show of solidarity for football's fight against discrimination"." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55223935What a scorcher of a shot! It's a comprehensive chess move.

Millwall players will not take a knee before Tuesday's Championship fixture against QPR but will stand arm-in-arm in a "show of solidarity for football's fight against discrimination".
It comes after some Millwall fans booed the players taking a knee before Saturday's defeat by Derby at The Den.
Players of both teams will collectively hold up an anti-racism banner.
Millwall's regular shirt sponsor will be replaced with the logo of anti-discrimination body Kick It Out.
In a statement, Millwall said: "Millwall believe that this gesture, which the club hopes to repeat with other visiting teams in the coming weeks and months, will help to unify people throughout society in the battle to root out all forms of discrimination.
"Millwall have a zero-tolerance policy against racial and all other forms of discrimination and want to again make clear to anybody who holds such views that you are not welcome at this football club. Millwall's stance, as always, is that anybody found guilty of racial abuse is banned for life."
The decision came after a meeting on Monday between both clubs, Kick It Out, Show Racism The Red Card, the Professional Footballers' Association, the Football Association (FA) and the English Football League (EFL).

Have Millwall and QPR defeated BLM and consigned it to the dustbin of wanky, posturing insincerity?
Basically, they've just told the tantrum-throwing brats: "No. Enough now."

Taking the knee is fascile, bullying, petty fascism and must be stood up to and stamped out. There's no place in sport or our wider society for a fanatical movement that demands outward symbols obeisance and sets as the default position an acceptance that everyone is a dirty racist until proven otherwise. It's just not decent.
