That's part of the problem. Very few of the people on the list could be considered "great". David Lammy? Diane Abbott? What you then have to do is to lower the bar to the point it just looks a bit embarrassing which doesn't do black people any favours. It is a bit sh*t for black people but you have to face facts. Black people haven't been in the country long enough to have many "greats". I think I'd struggle to come up with 100 great white people and that's about 85% of the current population.

history should be a rich tapestry that reflects all who came before, still I don't suppose you've ever really got over more women getting a shout in history books, so having black people in there too must be awful for you.

not sure eating yourself to obesity is a black thing, lots of fat white men and women. And make no mistake about it for the vast majority of us who carry a few too many pounds and especially those who carry a few too mant stones, its recreational obesity and making excuses and blaming others is the easy way out. This idea that you can't say these things cos its 'fat shaming' is bollox, 'fat shaming' would be pointing and laughing as some pie stuffer and humiliating them, but pointing out obesity is as a result of lifestyle choices and just eating far too many calories and can be avoided or mitigated by making difference choice is not fat shaming, its just the truth.
