The judge ignored Carroll's lawyer who wanted this guy thrown off the jury. The judge was helping Trump out. Also, this did not need unanimity - they could have got this verdict without the final juror. |

There is no reason for a slander law to exist if the slanderer can keep repeating his lies after judgement. There has to be penalties. So that’s the simple solution. Trump just has to not repeat the lies he’s been already found liable for. |

This is hilarious. DeSantos, the day after loosing republican stronghold Jacksonville to the dems, Disney has cancelled its plan to invest $1bn dollars in Florida. DeSantas has been trying to silence and cancel Disney ever since they disagreed with his don't say gay bill attacking gay and trans kids. So his authoritarian whish to only allow those who agree with him a voice in his state has now cost 2000 regular jobs and countless other jobs in construction and support sectors. No wonder he can't even beat the biggest looser in American political history for the nomination in 24. Disney himself was an old racist and the company are dodgy as sin.
But the company are a business, and they know they can’t go alienating the huge majority of the public who aren’t great gaping arseholes. So they have to at least put on a performance of pretending to be decent.
