This is not correct.

What happened was that Mitch McConnell refused to allow witnesses to get called. Loads of diplomats appointed by Trump, part of the Trump administration, testified explicitly that Trump had a quid pro quo of holding back $400m of defense equipment in order to get the Ukrainians to announce an investigation into the supposed bribe.

Again. It seems utterly daft that the Republicans need to keep reminding us of Trump's other corruption and subversion of the state and ignoring of the laws as an accent to add to this demonstration of it.

Yes, but, again. When discovered they all handed them over, did not hide them, did not conspire with staff to make sure they were not handed back, didn't leave them unsecured in the toilet and public rooms on their estate, didn't wave state and military secrets to guests and friends.

Though what Trump did do was sign a law making it a criminal offense with up to 5 years in jail to mishandled classified documents, a law ge is presently being prosecuted under.

I think you have this backwards. It turns out that the US isn't completely dead as a functioning democracy and the rule of law still applies. That people who try and overthrow elections, who ignore the laws required to maintain the democratic standards, may be held to account.

Also Biden didn't have anyone arrested and can't have anyone arrested. You have Trump-like fantasies about what the President can do.

Also, Trump remains walking around free. It's not exactly Yagoda in the show trials or Trotsky with a pickaxe through his skull in Mexico.

Did Biden have documents that detailed how to attack Iran, detailed foreign allies nuclear capabilities? And then wave them around in front of non-vetted people?

Did Biden try and hide documents taken, tell his bodyman to conceal them, hide them on planes and so on?

I think you know the answer and therefore know why it's not comparable.
