I'm off to the pyrenees on Monday Taking the N20? Brive la Gaillard - Cahors - Montauban - Toulouse? Flying to toulouse. Hole up in tarascon sur Arriege. Do a few days cycling from there. Col de port col d'agnes col de Paileres if it's open.

Happy St George's Day English! Even though it's banned.

Many a true word, Mids. TBH, it does seem like it's being underplayed.

It's warm and sunny here in Manchester. Gonna head off on my bike to visit an auntie who lives a few miles away.

Sunny and warm in West Sussex. Just been for a nice walk along the Adur. Got to mow the grass later. Bollocks. I hate that strimmer, I might accidentally break it this afternoon.

It is sunny here in Tucson, but that’s less of a surprise

Next, you'll be telling us that it's dry in Arizona.

I had always assumed that the name Arizona was derived from some sort of Spanish portmanteau word for a dry area. Apparently not.

Next, you'll be telling us that it's dry in Arizona. Not in monsoon season it’s not. Fortunately that’s still a few weeks away

Monsoon? Pfft! That's a very wanky American appropriation, isn't it?
