I propose another occasional thread for trite words of wisdom that, it turns out, are good advice.
My inaugural submission, gleened from Netlflix this very afternoon, is words for your kids or sundry yoot:
"It's not so important to know what you want to be. It's important to decide what you don't want to be."
That will save a lot of time and pain.

TBF, I've always largely done what amuses me, until it doesn't.
Job interview tomorrow. Can't say I particularly want it, but it'll pay the bills while other stuff settles down.

Do what you love & love what you do & that way you’ll never “work” a day in your life… The challenge is there is if there is absolutely not one thing you “love” doing. Although not sure how true this is. I imagine you can love sex but hate sex work. |
