If you think no parents were helping their kid get a job when you were young (including letting them know of an available paper round or snow shovelling gig) then you are incredibly ignorant of the world in which you live. thats exactly what we did. after a big snow storm we grabbed our shovels, knock on peoples doors and ask them if they wanted us to shovel the snow for them. we didn't ask mommy to call everyone in the neighborhood. As I said if you don’t think during your childhood parents weren’t helping their kids find work (including letting them know of available paper rounds or snow shovelling gigs) then you are incredibly ignorant of the world in which you live.
