Hmm. Lots to unpick here:
1 - he's rapist scum 2 - he had leave to remain something like 20 years ago, so I'm not sure how he's a failed asylum seeker; he appears to be an actual refugee who was granted asylum 3 - deportation agents shouldn't break peoples' hands because that muddies the waters on who gets to stay or leave

Where's the proof his hand was injured?

“ The cabin crew's intervention came amid claims Mayela's hand had been broken by deportation minders who handcuffed his wrists and taped his legs together. Weeks later, Mayela won leave to remain after lawyers said that deportation would be against his human rights while police investigated the handlers for alleged assault” Ok this provides more context. It was alleged his hand had been broken while prepped for the flight and the cabin crew refused to take off (presumably until he received medical attention). Seems reasonable. And the 15 year old girl he raped? Does that "seem reasonable"? For all your babble about rape and violence against women, it's always conditional with you. What's the skin colour or politics of those involved is your first response. I think your emotions are causing you not to read properly. Which is why you are conflating weird things around “skin colour” (your obsession), “politics” and “rape and violence against women”. Take a deep breath, calm down and try to re read. I am not commenting on his crime. I have no problem with rapists being deported. I am commenting on the decision made by the cabin crew. When did he rape the 15 year old girl? Was the crew told he had raped / planned to rape a 15 year old girl when they refused to take off with a man with a broken hand? Unless that information was made available to them at the time they made the decision it’s irrelevant to the actions of the crew. You are allegedly an academic you should be able to keep up. ((Although you are the kind of person who supports extrajudicial killings by police if the person killed has a criminal past (of which they are unaware.) which is probably why you are struggling to follow). If the crew knew he had raped a 15 year old girl and still chose to help him they should deported with him. You have posted nothing that shows that to be the case.

Oh it was in the title:
He raped the girl after his deportation was blocked.
Unless the crew are powerful psychics or genuine fortune tellers linking the two is weird.

You know the most important thing is that he raped a child, don't you? This was after two deportation orders, both of which he got out of by claiming injury. Then he raped a child.

He got out of because he was injured by the deportation agents. Basically, a child was raped because the deportation agents acted like scum rather than considered due and fair process and behaved like humans.

The article you posted doesn’t know that. It’s carried on at length in the title and body about the actions of the crew. They are linking two completely unrelated things. As are you. You seem to think that the cabin crew are the reason a girl was raped. The crew intervened due to a suspected injured passenger (which I am sure is online with their training). Later said passenger raped a girl. If you don’t want to blame the actual rapist then you could blame the handlers who led to the situation where they refused to fly with an injured passenger. But it’s a red herring talking about “do-gooder cabin crew” unless they were privy to some additional information.

If he'd obeyed the lawful instructions given, he wouldn't have injured himself, if indeed he did.

You've become crazed. Even more crazed, perhaps.
That to Vania, obvs. Also, he was never injured.

There's no evidence in the reports I've seen about how they broke his hand.

Or if indeed he did. Did anyone else injure themselves through illegal disobedience?

In the evidence. Do you imagine it is likely you'll be injured while being handcuffed by trained professionals if you are compliant?

Yes, if they're a bunch of violent cunts who are encouraged by their bosses and peers to act like violent cunts and there is no penalty for brutality and abuse.

I mean can you conceivably imagine a world where law enforcement officers don't uphold the finest possible standards, and where they might actually misbehave and abuse someone? Someone who isn't white? I mean, it's really hard to conceive of such a situation. It seems wildly, wildly implausible.
