I'm not sure what the story is. 10% of the people who voted for parties other than Labour want someone other than Labour to run the country and have signed a pointless petition to say so.

Most petitions are pointless in that they don't change much but it's good to keep up the pressure on the Worst Government Eva (WGE) and annoy the BBC.

The funny thing is that Britain's idiotic electoral system means that while 70% of the public voted against Starmer there's literally no way that any election is getting called for a long time because he has such an overwhelming majority.

Musk is promoting the stunt heavily in the US, even going as far as showing how to find random UK post codes.
Though it is amusing how the right have glommed onto this Farage stunt as showing the true will of the people when just a few years ago they dismissed the petition calling for a second EU referendum despite it garnering far more support. Yet another rank hypocrisy from the right, it's just ingrained.
