Scooby.....they usually will run from you in the wild, its only if you get one cornered, wounded or startle it, that you can have a whole lot of trouble. A place where I used to go hunting had such an incident a few years back. One wounded pig cost a hunter 226 stitches. loss of pulse in both legs. He had to be Medvac'd out. When I hunt, I carry a 270 cal. rifle with scope and as a back up, a 44 Magnum hand gun (in holster of course). The second one is life insurance. Incidentally, the last one I dropped field dressed at just over 145 lbs.

I think i will pass on hunting my own meat grizzley lol! I will certainly be on the lookout for local farmers to buy my meat in future, thanks.

Grizzly: You carry a 44 Magnum to kill pigs!!! ahahaha brilliant. Whats the kick back on a piece of kit like that? Is it as easy to control as Mr Eastwood does in Dirty Harry? Always wanted to shoot one...grrrrr men and guns...grrrr. im getting hard...Oops..ahem...so about breakfast...

I remain astonished that people believe the rubbish put out by British farmers that suggest, somehow, they are all lovely people who treat all their animals with respect and love and there's no bad practise at all, but all the foreigners are bad evil people who attach electrodes to pigs testicles for the fun of it.

Thats it ted, youve made me hungry. Im gonna go sort myself out with an egg roll, made by chickens in a battery farm cause my finances are more important to me than a chickens lifestyle. Bwahahahahaha.
