Another oil embargo would cripple the west, make the arabs richer (at a time when the credit crunch has knocked $2.5 trillion off their investments) and forever raise the price of oil. Frankly we'd deserve it

Syria won't find much support for that, and neither should they.
The rev is right. Hamas isn't the most popular kid on the block as far as most Arab states are concerned, and that includes the leaders of Palestine in the West bank.
