Human shieldHuman shield is a military and political term describing the presence of civilians in or around combat targets to deter an enemy from attacking those targets. It may also refer to the use of civilians to literally shield combatants during attacks, by forcing the civilians to march in front of the soldiers. This is done in the hope that the other party will be reluctant to attack them. Furthermore, if the other party attacks these targets anyway, the resulting civilian casualties have propaganda value. Using this technique increases the civilian casualty rate and is illegal by any nation that is party to the Fourth Geneva Convention. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_shields

Hamas are evil f**king terrorists.
It would take a Hamas rocket landing on top of the thick headed f**ks of this forum's "Peanut Gallery" to admit that obvious fact.

Hmmm, I agree that human shields are wrong.
I also disagree of the killing of innocent civilians.
In this threads case however I don't believe there'll be any children in any of the schools in Gaza.

NY, I rang you from Chappaqua (to look at Clinton's house) on Saturday as I was returning from a visit to the FDR Library & Museum.
I am waiting for my employment authorization card from USCIS. As soon as I have the security of a job (officially I have to leave the US by March if I don't get my card), I'm going to shop for some furniture. You are most welcome to drop by Princeton and visit. I have my own apartment and there will be a sofa bed in the lounge.
....and anybody else who I like and trust on News (Limeylily, Chromodynamix, etc.) - if you are visiting the US Northeast, you now have free accommodation :-)
