So don't make out this is big mean nasty too-clever-for-his-own-good la la picking on poor, innocent, hapless and defenceless little SS.
I didn't say you were mean or nasty and if that's what you took from it, I apologise. I think you're quite cuddly in a potty othersideoftheworld way. yes I agree that SS does spout off and then have to go to work, and it can be mildly annoying, but I think we all know why she does it.

If keeping the workers obedient and subservient was the aim of poor education then China wouldn't be desperately raising their education standards as fast as they are able. ... unless their intention is to build a generation of Chinese who will rule the masses. Of non-Chinese.

LaLa and Voice seem to hate SS quite a bit. From their lofty intellectual perches in locations not around Yorkshire. LaLa does the critical assessment method of sneering disparagement and Voice just keeps calling her a thick racist. Neither have walked down her street but both are convinced that the only problem it's got is the BNP skulking around preaching hatred. LaLa will examine every word of every post looking for mistakes with which to refute. Voice goes all high-pitched like a girl in his accusations.
But it's like this, lads. She predicted some things and people sneered. She turned out to be right and the people who sneered now look like cnuts. I'm telling you, guys. Location counts for more than snobby pretentious intellect no matter how good your broadband connection.

What did she predict, exactly? That the BNP might win a couple of seats? Haedly a unique observation. I think I said something of the kind before the Euro elections. Of course, in Rick's selective view of the world, that gets expunged, just like my painstaking and slightly obsessive facts checking gets written of as bias.
SS's street has rarely, if ever, been a topic of debate. Usually, it's a Daily Mail article. Now, I might be wrong here, but I think words mean more or less the same in the southern hemisphere as they do in the northern. So I don't see why it matters where I am.

PS My broadband connection is rubbish. WHich is why I rarely post pictures. I suspect SS's mobile is faster.

She was right and you were wrong. No use crying over it. Just accept that you're pretentiously stupid and get on with your life on that basis. It's no big deal. And you'll be happier once you come to terms with it.

Whilst I'm no fan of ss she does post about her town quite often. Its not just DM articles that she posts.

What was she right about? That's it. These windbags are constantly congratulating each other about emissions of wind.

I don't think she really flounced this time. She said she was going to take a break from the board. Maybe she is off to the Red White and Blue festival?

What was she right about? She was right that the BNP would collect support from people sick of what you claim the Daily Mail is making up. This afternoon the UAF, thats "United Against 'Finking" secured them some more support. And can't you tell that you're wrong? Bertrus agrees with you which is like being handed a dunces cap and being told to sit in the corner.

Neither have walked down her street - Rick
how presumptuous of you Rick, but hardly surprising really, as one born and raised in Bradford then when I came back to Yorkshire after several years working overseas and in London I lived in the Dales and worked in and around Burnely and Rossendale I walked the same streets day in day out and saw what she saw, I just refused to see with the same narrow prejudices, but looked at the wider state of the country and to the history of the place and its peoiple to realise the problems very often have little do with how many darkies happen to live there.

So. Been there lately? What's the nationality of the eatery round the corner from the nearest cinema to the railway staion in Doncaster?
Narrow prejidices. What does that mean? Is that pretentious unintelligentsia for racism? What do you mean by wider state of the country? Is that unassociated liberal for for "fcuk the proles, it's the glorious lefty ideals that matter" and you can think that way because you don't live there?
The Voice is getting a bit pompous now. Are you trying to live up to the Hugo Weaving character behind the mask? Forget it, you don't have the class and you come off more like some dweeb coffee morning wife with too much time on her hands. Maybe you should adopt a Polly Toynbee image for your avatar.

I've said that the BNP would gain support and probably win a few seats. So you're cluelessly wrong. As usual. Are you actually arguing with me, or with some dweeb in your head who says things that you then attribute to me.
And I've never suggested the DM is "making up" people's anger or disillusion. It is inventing specific scare stories by inaccurate, sensational reporting, like the example I gave earlier. I've shown this happening repeatedly, and you're standard response isn't to actually counter my claims by showing the Mail as some sort of paragon of journalistic integrity, but to whine about my perceived bias - as if that made the slightest whit of difference to the accuracy or otherwise of the Mail story. I can be as biased as you like and it won't make the Mail story any more or less true.
Why not, for once in your life, be a bit of a man and actually try to have a real agrument, instead of a stream of ad hominems, strawmen and outright fantasizing?
